👃👅 Grade R – Taste and Smell Theme 👃👅

Our Grade R learners had so much fun exploring their senses during our Taste and Smell activity this week!

The children used their noses to smell different items and their taste buds to sample a variety of treats and snacks. They carefully observed, compared and described what they could smell and taste, while learning how our senses help us understand the world around us.

Activities like these make learning exciting, hands-on and memorable, while encouraging language development, observation skills and curiosity.

Well done, Grade R! We loved seeing all the smiles, surprised faces and enthusiastic participation. 😊

Our 3-Year Class had so much fun learning about the Mighty Eagle this week! Through hands-on exploration, our little learners discovered eagle nests, eggs, feathers, and the amazing life of one of nature's most powerful birds.

Watching their curiosity grow as they explored, questioned, imagined, and learned was truly special. Activities like these help develop observation skills, language, confidence, creativity, and a love for learning through play.

🐄🌾 Farm Friends Fun at Jelly Tots! 🌾🐄

Our Jelly Tots had a wonderful time exploring our Farm Friends theme today! They enjoyed getting hands-on with a sensory bin filled with hay, grass and farm animals, using their senses to discover different textures and objects.

The fun continued as they practiced their gross motor skills by bending, stretching and reaching to gather eggs from the nests. Activities like these help develop coordination, balance, concentration and fine motor skills while making learning exciting and engaging.

Learning through play is always the best kind of learning! 💚🐑🐓🥚

👮🚔 LITTLE OFFICERS IN TRAINING 🚔👮

Our 5-Year Class had an exciting time exploring the important role of our Police Officers during our Police Theme! 💙

The children loved dressing up as officers, using police equipment, and learning about how police officers help to keep our communities safe. Through imaginative play, role-playing, and hands-on activities, they developed confidence, communication skills, teamwork, and a greater understanding of the people who serve and protect us every day.

We are so proud of our little officers and the enthusiasm they showed throughout this fun and educational theme! ⭐👮‍♀️👮‍♂️
