✨ The other weekend in August, we had such a fulfilling time at the last SUMMIT. It was truly a blessing for me and the team to be part of it.

I know it’s already September, but I feel this post is timely - because this is plowing and planting season. And for me, it’s a reminder that every seed sown in purpose will grow in its season🌱

I carry with me the words of Nomndeni : ā€œAbundance is not a thing that happens to you, it’s a way of life.ā€ šŸ’›

REFLECTING | Here’s what my businesses; Euphony Brands and now SKINGLOW Africa — have been teaching me about me over these last few months…

Euphony Brands is in what I call the toddler phase 😫😭growing fast, full of energy, reaching new milestones every day. It’s exciting, but it’s also stretching me in ways I didn’t anticipate. And just like with toddlers, you can’t rush the stage, you can only learn and grow through the tears🤭

Here’s what I’ve been learning:

🌱 Systems grow with you: The systems that worked when it was just me don’t necessarily work with a team. Processes must evolve with human capital.

🌱 Managing your own team is different: It’s not the same as leading in a corporation. Trust, delegation, and patience are things I’m learning to build daily.

🌱 Cash flow is delicate: Scaling isn’t just theory. Sometimes one big payment in or out has a ripple effect that touches payroll and suppliers.

🌱 Black female founders need more grace : Unconscious biases are real: having to justify pricing, being labelled ā€œharshā€ when we’re assertive, or feedback not coming from a place of growth. We need to shift that.

🌱 Legacy building is different: When you build for legacy, integrity doesn’t end with you. It flows through your business, your team, your clients, and the impact you leave.

🌱 Everyone is a work in progress: Whether in life or in our careers, no one has it all figured out. We’re all still learning and growing.

And now… I’m also a proud mother of a new business: that I have been baking for a few years now. Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey. This next chapter is about growth, learning, and alignment.

ā€¼ļøLastly and this is very important entrepreneurship is often painted as glossy, but the truth is, it’s a refining process. It teaches you a lot about yourself , tests your faith in God.

Either way I’m grateful for both of my ā€œbabiesā€ - Euphony Brands and SKINGLOW Africa; and I’m grateful for every lesson along the wayšŸ’›

WEEKLY BIBLICAL DECLARATIONS | This new season is about trust and alignment, I pray that these Biblical Declarations remind you of that šŸ™šŸ¾šŸŒæ

When we surrender our own plans, God directs us with clarity and peace. His voice silences confusion, His Holy Spirit leads us into purpose, and His will is always perfect.

This week, may we lean in, stay aligned, and trust Him completely✨

ā€œMetamorphosis in Purpose - Aligning, Obeying, and Walking Boldly in God’s Calling.ā€

šŸ’āœØ A new season, a new beginning. This week’s declarations remind us to lean into the purpose Yahuwah has placed within us - to align, to obey, and to be transformed. No matter the rejection, no matter the noise, His calling remains.

šŸŽ¶This week’s Biblical Declarations are inspired by this song: Ufanelw’ Udumo by
