The Junior IT Field Technician is a technical position that requires basic knowledge across multiple areas of IT Support & Infrastructure. The Junior IT Field Techncian will be responsible for delivering effective IT Support requirements, to ensure maximum productivity of end users.

Attributes and Requirements:
o Minimum level of education: Grade 12 /N4 (Matric)
o Years of experience: 1 Year minimum
o CompTIA A+ and N+
o Microsoft Certified Professional
o MS Office and Windows ALL Versions
o Friendly, people's person
o After hours support could be necessary
o Keep up with Technology
o Must be resilient
o Must be able to work under pressure Organised and efficient
o Driver’s License and own transport

Additional areas of focus are:
o Provide On-Site First Level End User Support.
o Laptops, Desktop and MFP Printers
 Windows Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 8/ 8.1/ 10).
 Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (2010 / 2013 / 2016 / 2019).
 Basic TCP/IP Networking knowledge essential DHCP.
 DNS
o General Administration on Workstations and Servers
o Wi-Fi setup and configuration
o CCTV support and installations
o Biometric support and installation
o Networking and network installations
o Experience with various Internet Connectivity Mediums essential:
o ADSL.
o 3G / LTE.
o Fibre.
o Microwave
o Soft PABX Systems and VOIP support
