Rustenburg City Council has taken a bold step to clean up the streets of the CBD by removing hawkers who used to congest space where people walk. However this move can hamper social and economic growth as some earn their livelihood from selling on the streets! Whats your take? Let hawkers sell or should we go for cleaner public spaces?
