Why do I need this?
You have just written an important business document. Before you email it to the client, you send it to your manager for comment. It comes back full of red-penned comments and criticisms. Sound familiar?
You want to understand why your hard-chosen words and carefully constructed sentences are not acceptable – and you want to know how to improve them.
How will I learn?
We begin with a quick pre-course analysis of your writing. We then shape the focus and experience of the learning around you/your learning team’s needs. You will find, to your amazement, that business writing is actually easy – if you know how!
What are my learning options?
Our business writing training is available for companies as a workshop (either online or in-house) or for individuals via one-on-one coaching sessions.

Develop Great Learning Material
7-8 October 2021 (Plan & Design Workshop)
27-29 October 2021 (Develop Workshop)
This programme is aimed at the trainer, instructional designer or consultant who needs to develop outcomes-based learning material quickly and effectively.
Investing time in planning and designing the learning materials for a course cuts development time by at least a third. It allows you to make informed decisions in advance, preventing costly reworking and redevelopment of material.
On this programme, you master the skills of developing a detailed design matrix (or blueprint) for your course. The design matrix bridges the gap between unit standards analysis, occupational analysis (finding the relevant facts about your workplace needs) and development (creating the learning material). It ensures accurate and relevant material to meet your learners’ needs.
This programme covers unit standard 10299: Design learning programmes and related learning materials. (NQF 6, 20 credits).
This programme is split into two workshops:
1 - Plan & Design (2 days)
2 - Develop Outcomes-based Learning Material (3 days)
