KLANG KOS 6 Update Now Available

KLANG:technologies has released KOS 6, a major operating system update that expands compatibility, enhances workflow efficiency, and introduces new integration possibilities across the KLANG immersive ecosystem.

Among the highlights is support for the new KLANG:1 and KLANG:1pro immersive processors, bringing KLANG's immersive mixing workflows to smaller and more flexible applications. KLANG:1pro users can now patch Dante devices directly within KLANG, eliminating the need for Dante Controller in many workflows.

KOS 6 also introduces Solid State Logic Live console integration, allowing SSL users to access immersive IEM control directly from the console surface, while ADM-OSC support opens the door to seamless integration with third-party immersive audio systems.

Additional new features include:
• Action Buttons for faster access to key functions
• Batch Snapshot Editing for quicker show preparation
• Improved device management and setup workflows
• Bitfocus Companion compatibility for Stream Deck control
• Simplified network configuration and KLANG connectivity
• Accessibility improvements including enhanced screen reader support

The update also includes numerous improvements to performance, robustness, security, and overall system reliability, ensuring a future-ready platform for immersive monitoring applications.

KOS 6 is available now as a free firmware update for all eligible KLANG processors and KLANG.
