Last year, we launched our new series of online courses, starting with the Art and Science of Reflexology. This course teaches the fundamental principles, theories and skills to practice reflexology. We welcome anyone who has heard about or experienced reflexology, and wants to learn more about this amazing therapy.

Designed for online learning, you can study at your own pace from the comfort of your home. You will receive access to a state-of-the-art Learning Management System (LMS) to enhance your learning experience by integrating rich media such as videos, presentations, activities and downloadable notes. There are also opportunities to interact with your tutor (Inge Dougans) and peers through chat and discussion forums.

Enrolment is flexible, so you can start whenever you are ready!

Vacuflex Concepts is unique in the field of complementary therapies. Using modern technology but without losing the human touch, Vacuflex Concepts maximises the body’s healing potential by combining two of the world’s ancient and powerful methods of holistic practice, reflexology and meridian therapy, in one treatment.

Patients can enjoy the combined benefit of a complete foot reflexology treatment plus the stimulation of all the major meridians in one half-hour session.

Specifically designed felt boots are applied for approximately 6 minutes at a pressure (vacuum) consistent with the patient’s comfort zone. 👣❤️

Once removed, the boots will leave a “map of colours” on the reflexes of the feet for approximately 15-30 seconds. These colours measure the body’s thermal energy and show body heat, or a lack thereof, in the various organs at the time of the treatment. 🔥👀

Silicon suctions pads are applied in sequence to the energy (acupuncture) points along the major meridians, creating a vibration to disperse any molecules sticking together and causing a blockage in the energy flow along the meridian pathway. 💫💪
