A blast from the past

1892 – Well-known Delfos jackhammer manufacturing company Gebroeders Delfos was founded.
1936 – Delfos moved from Pretoria to the heart of mining at the time Benoni.
1946 – Alliance with Swedish company AB Atlas Diesel was formed.
1956 – Delfos Ltd became Delfos & Atlas Copco (Pty) Ltd with 9 branches throughout South Africa.

Today, Atlas Copco Industrial South Africa (Pty) Ltd, has nationwide sales, distribution and service networks, ensuring products, are running at maximum efficiency with minimum downtime at customer sites.
