It is with profound sadness that we inform you of the untimely passing of Dr Koos Shabangu

Dr Shabangu was a highly respected colleague whose dedication, wisdom, and commitment left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of working with him. His passing is a great loss, not only to his family and loved ones but also to the broader community of colleagues and partners who benefited from his knowledge and leadership.

On behalf of the PHSDSBC, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and everyone mourning this tremendous loss. We ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

We will keep you informed of the funeral and memorial service arrangements as soon as the logistics have been finalised.

May Dr Shabangu’s soul rest in eternal peace, and may his legacy continue to inspire us all.
