On high volume Sage 200\ Evolution sites I have seen Order numbers on Sales orders duplicate. This is obviously an issue when you integrate to other systems, or when you need to track it in your stores department or warehouse.
So how do you stop it from happening
Because One order will always first be in an unprocessed state (docsate = 1) you can use a unique filtered index to create a database constraint from stopping it occuring.
oviously this is only on sited where Order numbers are Generated.
