HOLD comes out.
'It is our responsibility to cause discomfort, to take a stand and say, ‘I’m acknowledging that there is something you’re not understanding about me, and I’m not going to fight it. But I want you to understand what is making you uncomfortable. Very often we make ourselves smaller and smaller in order to accommodate validation. As we celebrate something so sacred, so special such as this on the African continent, we represent a lot of hope. Why can’t everyone express their love the way they want to, with consent, freedom and respect? You should really make sure you have a connection with your personality, with yourself, but also make connections with other people too. This perhaps makes you a better person. Being connected makes you a richer person.'
