At Isibani Development Partners, we believe that empowering youth starts with meeting their most basic needs. This allows them to step into the classroom with dignity and focus on their future.
We are proud of the Grade 12 learners at Sikhulangemfundo Secondary School who shared how our support has made a difference. With urgent help in securing identity documents, access to TB education, mental health support through social workers, and programmes to prevent teenage pregnancy, learners are better equipped to succeed in school and in life.
We are especially inspired by Ayanda Mzimela from Madlankala Reserve, who shared how something as fundamental as a school uniform can remove barriers to education and restore confidence.
This is the heart of our Adolescents and Young People programme in the King Cetshwayo District: holistic support that enables learners to thrive.

As part of our commitment to the End TB Campaign, the Isibani Development Partners team has been active in the Ekurhuleni District, engaging with local schools and the wider community.
We conducted TB screenings, gathered important health data, and shared key messages on prevention, care, and treatment.
These efforts support the TB Recovery Plan, which aims to significantly reduce TB incidence and mortality in South Africa by 2035. Raising awareness and connecting individuals to care remain critical steps in reaching this goal.

The impact of youth support goes far beyond the classroom.
One of our students expressed her gratitude to the Isibani Development Adolescent and Young People Programme, which supported her and her family during difficult times. From providing school uniforms to offering compassionate counselling, the programme made a real difference.
When we support a young person, we uplift families and strengthen communities.
Thank you to our student for sharing how the Isibani Adolescent and Young People Programme made a difference, kusukela ekunikezeni ama-uniform esikoleni kuya ekusekeleni nge-counselling.
