Dynamic intervention to help nurture excellence

In 1996, Dynamic Commodities opened its doors, in Nelson Mandela Bay… supplying locally-farmed food products to both a local and international market

22 years later, Dynamic Commodities, which forms part of the Coega IDZ, has seen an increase in workforce numbers… in a region that is generally regarded as having one of the country’s highest unemployment figures… at any one time, they offer work opportunities to between 600 – 1000 local residents; This is seasonal, depending on the fruit packing, at the time

The Company prides itself in providing employment for those in our Metro who are in dire need of this and they have also adopted on a “Civility Code”, amongst their Staff complement… to ensure that everyone is treated with respect and dignity, no matter what tier of employee one is

Recently, in order to engage with the surrounding community as well as with their very own workforce. The Company has donated R30 000 in digital equipment, to the Ndyebo Senior Secondary School Grade 12 Class…as part of Phase one of a CSI programme.. With Phase two being to provide Tutoring to said Grade 12’s in order to assist in upskilling them to be ready to take on tertiary education opportunities or begin a career in the working world

Adrian Vardy, CEO of Dynamic Commodities says: “Retaining expertise within our Metro, as well as providing avenues for those young people residing within the area to have a chance at achieving better grades, that will equip them for further studies or working initiatives, is vital to our Company, whose very workforce is locally based, which is why we strive to source product from a predominantly Eastern Cape target market, and to also source our “manpower”, from within the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro”; He added that it was part of staying within the game that drove Dynamic Commodities to use Local innovation, for Global reach!
