The system is focused on improving the efficiency and performance of such facilities by means of concurrent warehouse defragmentation. The concept was conceived and developed by students at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in response to the Green Warehouse Logistics Challenge set forth by the annual PneuDrive Mechatronics Competition.
