This time of year with the colder weather we often get contacted for cars not starting due to bad batteries. Batteries don't like the cold! ❄ī¸đŸĒĢī¸
ī¸ī¸
🔧 Tech tip: If you are having your battery tested insist on a 'load test'. The standard test that is usually done by most shops is not sufficient to tell if the battery is in good condition. 🔧
âŖ
Too often we hear 'I had my battery tested and it was fine, what could the problem be?' 😕❓
âŖ
When a load test is then done the battery fails the test, and it's confirmed the battery indeed needs to be replaced. If the battery passes the standard test as well as a load test, then further fault finding would need to be carried out.
âŖ
Battery tests are free at most battery centres
Happy driving! 😄
