Well done Calico Interact on raising R3099 for the SPCA. Two of our interact members (Musa and Liyema Msutwana) went to handover the money today - and of course say a quick hello to some cute puppies! Please visit the Port Alfred & Ndlambe District SPCA to support their shop, adopt your next pet, or give them a donation to help care for the animals.

Our grade 10 Life Science kids ventured into the garden to find materials to make models of the process of mitosis.

We are aware of the continued rain and understand that many parents are concerned in light of the overnight rainfall and the long distances some of our students travel. While less rain is forecast for today, we are aware that some roads have flooded and that a number of families in low-lying areas have been affected by the heavy rain associated with the current cut-off low weather system.

As our school is not situated in a low-lying area, the school will remain open today for those who are able to and/or would like to attend. Students who are at school will continue to receive guided learning and teaching.

However, if you are unable to get your child to school safely due to the weather conditions, or if your child is unwell, please keep them safe and warm at home. Their safety and wellbeing remain our first priority.
