HASHTAG SA UNITE, founded in 2020, has embarked on a remarkable journey to uplift and transform communities across the Cape Flats and rural areas of South Africa. Officially registered as a Non-Profit Company (NPC), Non-Profit Organization (NPO), and Public Benefit Organization (PBO), SA Unite is committed to making a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most. Our journey began wi

th a focus on addressing the urgent needs of victims of Gender-Based Violence (GBV). Witnessing the harsh conditions faced by various communities during this time, our dedication expanded to embrace a broader mission of holistic community development. The cornerstone of our efforts lies in our feeding kitchens, which have evolved to become a lifeline for many. Today, we provide nourishment to an astonishing 650 to 1000 individuals daily. Additionally, every Monday and Friday, we ensure that 100 pensioners receive essential food parcels, aiming to alleviate their struggles and improve their quality of life. Recognizing the importance of education in breaking the cycle of poverty, we ventured into the world of education camps and excursions. These initiatives extend beyond the classroom, giving children from disadvantaged backgrounds the chance to experience life beyond their immediate surroundings. By equipping them with vital tools, we empower them to rise above their circumstances and excel in various aspects of life. Furthermore, we are dedicated to fostering self-sustainability within the communities we serve. Through the establishment of food gardens, we empower locals to cultivate their own resources and contribute to the well-being of their neighborhoods. This approach not only provides sustenance but also fosters a sense of pride and ownership. The recent introduction of the Hub of Hope adds another layer to our comprehensive efforts. This safe and nurturing space allows children to complete their homework, connect with peers, and engage in counseling and workshops as needed. Our team boasts diverse skills and expertise, enabling us to address a wide spectrum of needs within the communities we serve. As we reflect on our years of experience, we are filled with gratitude for the progress we've achieved. Our journey is driven by the desire to empower individuals and communities, equipping them with the tools they need to shape their destinies positively. On 𝟮𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, HASHTAG SA UNITE will be taking 𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟭𝟬 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 on a life-changing educational trip up Table Mountain via the Cable Car. Every ticket has already been secured.

Now, we need your help to complete the journey.

We are raising 𝗥𝟭𝟮,𝟬𝟬𝟬 to cover transportation and meals for learners from 𝗠𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗞𝗹𝗮𝗽𝗺𝘂𝘁𝘀, children who, for many, have never experienced a bus trip, never left their communities, and in some cases, have never even seen the Cape Town CBD.
