The 2023 IOI Team left for Hungary on Sunday 27 August. They will be competing against the best coders from all around the world in Hungary this week. The South African Team are bright young talented coders from South African schools. We are proud of the team members who have earned their place in the top against thousands of learners from across the country who participated in the Programming Olympiad last year. We know they will return with proud smiles on their faces! All the best to the 2023 SA IOI Team!

This is the first day of the Talent Search. If you have not yet registered, there is still time to do so. Over 24 000 learners were already entered for this year's Talent Search.

As the world is becoming more digital, education becomes the most important tool in our life. Even more so ICT skills. When teachers let their learners participate in the South African Computer Olympiads, they are playing an important role by exposing South African learners to digital learning. All registrations have to be done through a SACE registered school teacher. We encourage all teachers to make use of this opportunity to engage in computational thinking and digital learning year by year. Participation in all 3 Olympiads is FREE.
