Greeting to all, hope everyone is well, safe and keeping the love and faith in these trying times where there is a pandemic claiming lives each and everyday, job losses amongst many other trials. However if we remain steadfast, hopeful we will all be fine.
l would like to take this opportunity to share with you how l came up with this idea of selling handmade sandals,l do not make them yet l wishes l could have the skills to do so but who knows with time l might maybe lol.
Anyway l went to study in Tanzania in 2010 after completing my high school,it was my first time to leave my country and my family,l was so young, cant say how old as u will figure my age lol,l was sacred at the same time l was excited.Upon arrival in TZ it was so hot eish l couldn't bare the heat, however l got used to it .......... l couldn't speak a word in Swahili which is mostly used in Tanzaniaz itwas hard to fit in at first however l met great friends in college, many of which l still communicate with upto today, infact they are family to me.l fell on love with the culture in Tanzania,it was my first time being in a country where when you cross each other in the streets you get friendly smiles, friendly greetings l even adopted it as all the way from the hostel to college as l would walk l would be greeted and have to greet back. The food absolutely wonderful, great variety indeed,l wont go in detail as l am trying to loss weight at the moment l might be tempted to indulge and leave my warm water/green tea lol.
me being me lol,l fell in love with the sandals,l would go to the market with my friends when they buy heels l would patiently wait to get my pair of handmade sandals by the sideway lol(cheap skate) well not really but that was and is still just me,l love them,l love flip flops l love casual to the casualness that is to the extremes lol.
Then being here in Capetown l thought why not bring these sandals probably to a few individuals that are like me and those not even like me too,as l would have people ask me where l got my sandals from if l am wearing them HENCE and therefore lol,Imanimiriam Crafts.
All sandals come from Tanzania and are handmade by the Masai guys living in Tanzania,my friend my sister,l call her my msela lol she will kill me for writing it here but well l just did lol,Leah Paul does all the buying and bargaining in Tanzania then we bring them all the way to Capetown to the feet of those needing them in Capetown at a slightly fair price than what is charged at other places.
On that NOTE:: we have started taking orders for summer in capetown, however if you are in a different city we can always make a way to get them to you at ana additional cost .
Thank you to all who have ever purchased and thank you too to those who will buy lol.....
Looking forward to many orders
