Minimal Manipulation of Your Hair:

It is important that you use the right hair tools and when possible, wear protective styling, especially in harsh weather, that is, freezing winter temperatures or blistering summer heat.

- When you use the correct hair tools, like a boar Bristle brush, large tooth rubber comb, detangling brush while conditioning the hair, etc., you will have minimum breakage.

- Remember to always be gentle with your hair so that you can minimise abrasion, tension, and stress of your hair.

- No tight braiding

- Gently detangle with a large tooth comb.

- Brush hair out no more than twice a week if wearing your hair out.

-Keep your scalp moisturized daily.

BLACK CASTOR OIL - THE WONDER OIL FROM JAMAICA.

Jamaican black castor oil [JBCO] is a highly effective restorative oil that is well documented to be great for both hair and scalp health. #2. Careful Detangling

Another key step in hair retention and hair growth is to remember to carefully detangle the hair. This cannot be overstated.

Remove braids with extreme care and patience. Please take your time. A lot of hair breakage can take place at this point.

It is recommended that you use a detangler (like ShebaShea Detangling Co Wash), a large tooth comb and/or rubber detangling brush. It is best to brush your hair from the ends to the roots for minimum breakage.
Remember, be gentle with your hair! Do not tear at knots. Gently brush them until they come loose.
