A happy Sunday to you all. I would like to take this opportunity to inform all of the upcoming charges to the risk policies as a result of the amendment in the tax laws. These affect particularly the INCOME PROTECTION aspect of your policy.
Effective from 1 March 2015, the income protection insurance will insure only your NET OF TAX INCOME. As a result, there will be no tax deduction effective from the 2016 tax season. The reverse is that, at claim stage, your payout will not be taxed.

Not liking life right now. I received terrible news this weekend of the death of a prospective client, who died before I could provide them with a life cover. He has two children, and he is/was the sole provider of his household. He kept saying he isn't ready. I feel like I have not performed my duties as a financial advisor. This is the hardest part of my job. His boss called to incurre if he had any policies with me. The reality of how important what I do is, just set in. Good people, let this not be you.
