Feed Is an Investment,Not an Expense
Cheap feed leads to poor growth and weak Rabbits
Use balanced feed rich in crude protein and High fiber.
Good feed = healthy Rabbits = better profits.

*Farming Is Science and Biology. It Doesn’t Run on Faith.* _

Every season I hear it: _“Let’s just plant and pray.”_
_“God will multiply the animals.”_
_“The rains will come and the crop will take care of itself.”_

Faith is good. But farming doesn’t run on faith.
*Farming runs on science, biology, and systems you create.*

*1. Plants Don’t Plant Themselves*
A maize seed doesn’t jump into the ground. A tomato doesn’t decide to transplant itself.

*Biology says:*
For germination you need moisture + oxygen + correct temperature + correct depth.
For growth you need N-P-K, sunlight, water, and pest control at specific times.

*Science says:*
Plant on day X, fertilize on day 14, scout on day 21, spray on day 28.
Miss one step and yield drops. There’s no “miracle kg” that shows up to cover your mistake.

You are not waiting for the crop. *You are managing a biological process.*

*2. Animals Don’t Just Rebreed Themselves*
Cows don’t get pregnant because you hope. Hens don’t lay because you clap.

*Biology says:*
Cows need body condition score 3 to cycle. Sows need 16 hours of light and correct feed to come on heat. Broilers need 22% protein in week 1 to hit target weight.

*Science says:*
Bull in on this date. Vaccinate on day 10 and day 21. Flush ewes 3 weeks before mating. Record calving intervals. Cull if fertility drops.

If you leave it to “faith”, you get 1 calf in 2 years, 40% mortality, and empty feedlots.
If you run a system, you get 1 calf per year, 3% mortality, and predictable cashflow.

*3. You Don’t Pray for Cycles. You Create Them*
This is where most farmers lose money. They wait for nature. Commercial farmers *engineer cycles.*

*Examples:*
- *Tomatoes*: You create a cycle. Seedbed June. Transplant August. Harvest November for December prices. Not when rains feel like it.
- *Broilers*: You create a cycle. Day-old in every 6 weeks. Feed budget done. Market contracted. No gaps.

AGAIN...

DOE VISITS BUCK.

Bringing a female rabbit to meet a male is a very important moment, but you must do it the right way to avoid a "boxing match." The golden rule is that the wife must always visit the husband's house. If you put the male into the female's cage, she will see him as an intruder or a thief. She will get angry and try to protect her territory, which leads to fighting instead of mating. By bringing her to the male's cage, she stays focused on the new environment while the male focuses on doing his job.

Once they are together, stay and watch them for a few minutes. You are looking for the "fall-off." When the mating is successful, the male will let out a small squeak and literally fall over on his side as if he has fainted for a second. This is the sign that your 31-day countdown to new babies has officially started. If the female is running away or trying to bite, do not force it. Just take her back to her cage and try again the next morning when the weather is cool and quiet. A calm mating session is the first step to a healthy, large litter.
