MAN ON THE MOON

Here I am again,
All alone still,
and maybe lonely just a little
but the stars keep me company as they shine bright in the night.

They tell tales unsolicited about galaxies that flowed and flows along the milky way.
They tell me about the faint stars that refuse to die, though they no longer give life nor eminate light to the shining sky.

Apparently, as I am told by the stars, the faint ones are a guidance and are symbolic.
They show way to the present stars and teach them the meaning of shining not just to shine, teach them the meaning of the sky and not just to light it up, so that tomorrow when the faint stars have fallen and the present are faint but have given birth to newer stars that shine even brighter, they shine with purpose, proudly so too.

SOLACE IN THE DARK

Even I could not believe what I found in the darkness
but it did not scare me, for it hid me from the judgemental eyes of society
I was kept safe

in the darkness, I could express myself
in the darkness, I learned more about myself and even made peace with what troubles me
I found peace of mind and solace in the darkness

I found courage, and I became the spark that burns in the darkness
now I shine bright in my own right
I am the light that lights my path

what I eminate is hope, dreams and success
I am not scared of the darkness it raised me
what scares me is those who dwell in it without finding the light
