So. I haven’t posted for a long time.
Not because we weren’t busy, rather the opposite of that.
But we also managed to make some exquisite items for the showroom of Studio Masson.
Have a look at this table and bathtub and let me know what you think about it.

It’s strange how business changes over the years. We should call ourselves “MIT large format tiles” now as it’s about 90% of our business. Not too long ago people would frown upon you if you have a table with “Tiles” on. Now look at these. I think they are absolutely stunning.

So we where asked to make a pendulum out of Jaspis. 300 mm diameter 600 mm long for an art installation in New York.
No problem I said.
How many sides? 6 or 8 I asked.
7. …….7?
Now that’s a problem. How does one line this up on a saw? How do you even get these angles right?
Luckily we have the most gifted masons at MIT Granite CC.
