Quitting Is Possible
Dagga may seem harmless, but it can have serious effects on your mental health, especially for teenagers and young adults.
🧠 It can affect brain development, memory, concentration, and learning.
📖 It can reduce academic performance and motivation.
💬 It can increase the risk of mental health problems, including anxiety, depression, and psychosis, particularly in those who are vulnerable.
🚫 It can lead to cannabis use disorder (dependence), making it difficult to stop using.
⚠️ It can impair judgement and decision-making, increasing the risk of accidents and other risky behaviours.
Quitting is possible, and recovery is within reach. With the right support, treatment, and determination, many people successfully overcome cannabis dependence and go on to live healthy, drug-free lives.
Protect your future. Choose health.
🚫 Say NO to substance abuse‼️
