Dates :
1st Weekend: 15th, 16th, 17th May
2nd Weekend: 22nd, 23rd , 24th May
Finals Weekend: 29th , 30th , 31st May

Prizegiving and Braai/meal on Sunday 31st May after last matches.

The final format (knockout/round robin) will depend on the size of the entry.

Matches will be scheduled for Friday afternoons or evenings, Saturday mornings, afternoon and/or early evening and Sunday mornings/early afternoon.

Once the draw is published, you are welcome to play early rounds before the weekend, but all rescheduled matches MUST be communicated to the Tournament Director. If you are unavailable on a particular weekend, please advise the TD before the schedules are published.

If you are planning on being in the Semi-finals or Finals, you are required to be available on ‘Finals weekend’ (Friday and Saturday – semi-finals, Sunday – finals). We do not want a situation where you have to withdraw due to unavailability on Finals weekend.

ALL ENTRIES BY 8PM, Sunday 11th May

Entry fee: R100 for 1 event, R170 for 2 events, R210 for all three events. Fee includes braai/meal, prizes and new balls for semis and finals.

BOKKE BINGO!

A night of Brilliant Bokke Bingo, presented by the Hermanus Tennis Club.

Date : 8th May
Time: 6.30pm

Entry: R100 pp, includes 1 card per round. (More cards can be bought at R10 a card.) Also includes pizza. Drinks are on sale.

Enter: in person at Tennis Reception, or by WA on 076 231 4597 (Judy) or 073 054 2598 (John). Entry fee must be paid by 6pm May 6th.

Prizes: Of course there are prizes!

Wear something Bokke (Hat/scarf/shirt) to get in the mood.

Dear Members, We hope you have been making good use of the club during the summer. We hope that you have noticed that we are making a concerted effort to improve the grounds, with more paving, new grass etc. The grounds at the club are looking pretty good, but we still have too many WEEDS that are loving the gardens.
Our two gardeners are doing their best to cope with the pesky Weeds as well as the general maintenance and we are appealing for your help.
PLEASE come along to a work party on Saturday morning, if you can spare an hour or even half an hour. It will make a big difference if we can get 10/20/30 people to help clear the grounds of all unwanted plants and bushes.
Tea and coffee are offered and if you are around at about 11.30, even a boerie roll for the hard workers. Bring your kids, bring your friends, bring your cousins and your uncle – all help is valuable. We have some small tools, but please bring your own implements and gloves if possible.
And it will make our grounds SPECTACULAR! Thank you.
