The good news? There is a better way. Dr Hermann advocates for "input-based empowerment"—focusing on fixing dysfunctional schools, creating jobs, and building grassroots infrastructure. Recent data shows that 75% of South Africans agree that education and job creation are the best ways to address inequality!

Solidarity is already proving this model works. They’ve launched a job platform where 4,000 companies have advertised 14,000 jobs completely free of race criteria.
