We’re excited to announce that Task Team 06 has been selected for their outstanding design, coding and teamwork at our recent Hackathon. Their custom version of the futuristic Cyborg Police Unit stood out, and each team member will receive a printed poster of their completed unit.

The Hackathon, held on 18 July, brought together learners from across the Unplugged Programme for a unique challenge: work in a new team to design and code the final look of an imagined cyberpunk-style cyborg.

The aim was to meet new people, learn to collaborate with other programmers under real creative pressure, and experience the kind of teamwork that real-life coding work often demands. We also had cosplay, custom stickers and iron-on patches, pizza, and a lot of fun.

A special shoutout to Crystal High School who showed up with the biggest crew. We’ll be visiting your club soon with something for the whole team to enjoy.
