A gentle reminder that real skin is supposed to look like skin.

Texture? YES, it is a living organism!
Freckles? CUTE, shows character!
Pores? NORMAL, something needs to regulate your hotness!
Tiny hairs? DUH, they actually have a protective function!
Old acne marks? CASUAL, everyone has them!
Pigmentation? SUNBUNNY, SPF doesn’t always work and you are not a vampire!
Breakouts? LET IT, it is your skin cleaning itself from within!
Fine lines? INEVITABLE, it is the map to your life!

None of these make you any less beautiful ✨

We’ve become so used to filters that we’ve forgotten what a real face actually looks like, ME INCLUDED - so insecure right?!

So here’s your reminder: you don’t need to filter the 💩 out of yourself to be worthy of being seen.

PS : I have acne marks, due to extreme adult acne in my early 30s (very few nowadays due to proper skin routine & CIT), I have melasma that cannot be laser treated so yeah, stuck with that (they become so dark when I am in the sun), I have freckles (on my face & shoulders), I have fine wrinkles around my eyes and smile line (freshly injected so less visibility) 🤭 - still a bit insecure, but a lot better!
