The MIWA Motor Mech Show is a showcase of what’s possible when young people get to see their talents in action — and their futures taking shape.

🎙️ “These shows inspire young people to see the motor industry as a space full of purpose and potential. That’s how we build a sustainable future,” says MIWA’s Morne de Jager.

💬 Daniel Vallihu, Head of Technical Studies at Phoenix Technical School, adds: “This collaboration empowers our learners and community. It connects education and industry in a way that builds real-world skills and opens doors.”

What’s in the line-up?
• MIWA Junior Motor Mech Competition with learners from Phoenix Technical School, Meadowlands Technical High School, and Clairwood Secondary School competing.
• Exhibitors from MIWA member workshops and motor industry stakeholders.
• Interactive career pathway exhibits by MIWA and partners.
• Show-stopping vehicles from local dealers and car clubs.
• Tech demos, food stalls, a kiddies’ zone, and exciting lucky draws.
• Show & Shine + Sound Off from 11:00—20:00
