What started as a simple idea among a few colleagues to get together and enjoy the beautiful game has grown into something I'm incredibly proud of.

Today, as captain of our team, I can proudly say we're no longer just a social soccer group.

We proudly represent CoActivate, wearing the company badge with pride every time we step onto the pitch, with coordination and support from Logandhran Govender.

From competing in weekend socials amongst colleagues, to weekly friendlies against teams like Durban Metro Fire and Stella FC, to competing and finishing as finalists in tournaments and leagues, the journey has been incredible.

Football has become more than just a game for us. It's a way to build stronger relationships across the business, encourage teamwork beyond the workplace, promote employee wellness, and create a culture where colleagues become teammates.

It's inspiring to see how a small idea can evolve into something that brings people together and creates a sense of belonging, both on and off the field.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported the journey so far. Here's to continuing to represent CoActivate with passion, commitment, and pride. ⚽💙
