Our client in the automotive/manufacturing sector requires a trade tested millwright with a N6 qualification and 3-5 years' relevant working experience. a supervisor/management qualification would be an advantage. You must be willing to work overttime when requested. Your duties will include but not be limited to the following: Fault finding/programme Siemens S7 PLC’s, troubleshooting with relevant techniques, conduct routine inspections on machinery and ensure work is conducted in a secure way. You will have to determine and set zero points on assembly equipment, Install and maintain mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems and be responsible for setting up leak test units (ATEQ) and measuring equipment.

You require the following experience:

 Understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics.
 Good understanding of position encoders for setup.
 Knowledge of Siemens touch and KISTLER controls.
 Installation of machinery and equipment.
 Knowledge of motor control and drives.
 Fault finding on CNC machines
 Replacement of balls screws, pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders etc. on
CNC machines.
 Programming and setup of laser marking machines.
 Knowledge of compressors.
 Must be able to perform minor welding tasks
