Say hello to GIBSON, a project from OpenUp and Africa Data Hub (ADH).
NASA's Global Imagery Browse Services (GIBS) satellite data holds a huge amount of information, but it is not always easy to find or use. GIBSON curates that data into layers with real use cases, making satellite imagery simple and accessible, especially for journalists who want to bring data-driven stories to life.
GIBSON will be live soon. Stay tuned for info on upcoming Brown Bag sessions and hackathons to see it in action. 🔭🌍🛰️
