This project mattered because we didn’t start with a pre-defined solution.

Instead, the xPod Design unit was built around the brand, operations, and presence, delivered through BioBuild (Pty) Ltd (Pty) with a lighter footprint and more deliberate use of materials

Proud of the outcome, and excited for what’s next.

This is an exciting one.

At the The Racquets Facility, we’re reworking the precinct as a layered, multifunctional environment rather than a single building solution.

The restaurant / deli and office component will be delivered through an X100 unit, paired with an engineered mezzanine roof that expresses our building methodology, creating elevated spaces that open up long views across the site and courts below.

Alongside this, the existing building is being upgraded and repurposed into a co-working environment, allowing old and new to work together rather than compete.

What I like about this project is the balance:
lightweight intervention, considered structure, and spaces that respond to how people actually use the facility, not just how it looks on plan
