FRED RICH

Fred Rich won't continue any longer as you know it 🖤
Lately, I have been a little quieter here.
Not because nothing is happening; but because so much is.
A great deal has been moving beneath the surface. Beautiful shifts. Subtle realignments. And with them, a kind of sacred tiredness, the kind that comes after long searching, long questioning, long becoming.
I realise now: had I not lived the life I have lived, had I not been shaped by the moments that formed me, I would not be standing at this exact point today. And yet, here I am: learning, again and again, how to return to myself. Freeing myself from past traumas and limiting indoctrination. Learning to turn my gaze inward instead of outward. Learning to come home.
Have you ever felt that too? That strange moment after you have gathered so many experiences, so many impressions, that the world inside you becomes louder than the one around you; and you need to find your way back to your own voice?
I feel myself being gently led back to a younger version of me. To the child who could slip into her own world for hours, creating without intention or expectation. Creating simply because it felt like breathing. Because it felt like freedom.
Every transformation carries a shadow of uncertainty. But somewhere beneath it all, something in me knows: this is not a step backwards, this is the path home.
This year has been a season of experimenting, of learning, of opening doors and closing others. Of welcoming people into my space; and learning when to return to myself. And that, perhaps, has been the greatest lesson of all.
I feel it calling now: a shift. A soft ending and a quiet beginning. What has been known until now will not continue in the same form. Something new is preparing to take its first breath; something more honest, more spacious, more true.
This path has never been just about a label to me. It has always been a journey inward. Back to my inner child. Back to lightness. Back to that original creative spirit.
For the support, the patience, even in my silence; I am deeply grateful 🖤

SAMW AW25 Look 3: NFL Neckholder Lace Dress
"Is Love Absurd?" ♻️
Is Love Absurd?
A collection made entirely from discarded materials: production leftovers, second-hand garments, forgotten fabrics — fragments of what once was. Each piece has been reimagined, stitched together with care and intention, a new life formed out of the old.
The question at the heart of this collection is one that lingers quietly in the background of our choices: Is love absurd?
We are born from love — innocent, connected, pure. And yet, we often act in ways that harm ourselves, others, and the planet we share. Nowhere is this contradiction more visible than in the fashion industry: fast fashion exploits labor, pollutes the earth, and discards value for the sake of constant newness.
Through this collection, I’m exploring the tension between love as an ideal and the realities of the world we’ve created. If we are all born from love, why do we so often act in loveless ways? Can something made from the remnants of waste still carry meaning — or even love?
This is not just a collection of clothes. It is a question, a reflection, a protest, and perhaps, a small act of hope.
