🇬🇧 TOUR DIARIES | DAY 1 🏏

We touched down in London... and just a few hours later, it was game time.

Despite tired bodies after a long journey, the girls showed incredible resilience in their opening match of the tour against Primrose Hill, played under beautiful natural light.

After losing the toss and being sent into the field, the team stayed composed, struck early, and did a fantastic job restricting Primrose Hill to a competitive total.

Our chase started cautiously, but momentum soon shifted thanks to some stunning stroke play from Lisakhanya Blom. With nerves of steel, the team held their composure and sealed the victory in the final over.

What a way to begin the tour, landing in a new country and winning our very first match just hours later. A performance full of grit, teamwork and determination.

The Send-Off Celebration was a reminder that this tour is about so much more than cricket. It is about opportunity, growth, exposure and showing young people what is possible when talent, commitment and support come together.
