Ten years after its launch, the company was renamed - Resin Processing Solutions, or R.P.S, to reflect a new direction and focus. The year 1992 was eventful for R.P.S: a new agency was added, Verfahrenstechnik Heubers Gmbh (VTH), which specialised in the metering and mixing of completely evacuated materials, ensuring a 100% air free mix; and an exciting new partnership was formed with EDF, now known as Sonderhoff Engineering, a specialist in the field of insitu gasket and filter applications. This partnership provided R.P.S with an opportunity to enter the sheet metal industry, an industry requiring high performance seals. Also in 1992, Schlenk established a sister company to R.P.S, Robatech SA, which has since become one of the two largest Hot Melt and Cold Glue equipment manufacturers in the world, as well as a leader in many of the industries. Robatech specialises in the processing of low to high viscous material ranging in processing temperatures from 21°C - 230°C. R.P.S has continued to grow from strength to strength, constantly looking for new and innovative solutions to local industry challenges and constantly striving to achieve its original mandate of providing the most comprehensive service to industry. R.P.S has now become the leading company in South Africa for Supplying the Equipment in the processing of a range of various chemicals, including:
