Here we installed a treated Pine covered roof area and balustrade; the 76 x 76mm posts come out of the ground, firstly supporting the Garapa hardwood deck and before extending up to form the support structure for the balustrade and then continue vertically to support the roof structure.
As there is no unsightly gutter the roof extends to allow the rainwater to fall directly into the garden below, without continually dripping on the deck and balustrade handrails.

To blend the treated green Pine and Garapa hardwood deck together we applied a Teak colour tint to the acrylic primer and then applied 4 coats of clear acrylic sealer.

Again the vision and design adapt during the installation process to make the best flow for the area and budget.

Day 1 of a pool deck handrail replacement, going to enjoy this one!

We loved everything about this installation; the wonderful clients who gave complete trust in our suggestions / design and the implementation thereof; we used smaller timber dimensions on the structural pergola as we want to keep the look quite minimal and not overly heavy.

The privacy screen horizontal braces will come off once the wood has cured, (1 season) which will leave uninterrupted vertical slats.

The client requested the bench seat arm rests to be oversized so they could be used as a mini side table, which works really well, and removable duck boards on the tiled surface.
