Yesterday we hosted European travel media and travel agents on a culinary exploration of , with .uk. Indian, Pan-African and Soweto influences on the city’s culinary traditions were explored and tasted, and a pallette cleanser visit to the Credwo Mutwa Village and an aerial perspective on Soweto and the city from the Oppenheimer Tower helped provide historical context. Part3 of our 3 part immersion with and in . For the final part of the day we visited at their HQ to learn about their approach to business incubation, asset based community development that can scale. RLabs was started in Bridgetown Athlone in 2008 and now has a global footprint. One of their biggest incubation success stories, , a blockchain digital rewards system, gave a presentation on their business journey from Mitchells Plain to the world.
