From a beautifully barrel-aged Sauvignon Blanc, to a bright Viognier, and a sensational Nebbiolo — each glass told its own story.

This was truly an evening to remember.
And then, a moment of pure personality:

There’s a certain excitement in finally visiting a winery you’ve come to love…
which makes it all the more disappointing when the service doesn’t match the standard of the wine.

The service felt unwelcoming and left a lasting impression — unfortunately not a positive one.
Hoping this was just an off day.

Some meals go beyond words… and this was one of them.
From the hands of Chef Gordon and his team came a symphony of flavour - sweetcorn and sage soup, indulgent pork belly, and a chocolate tart. Each bite layered, intentional, unforgettable.

All this paired The Deep Purple wine, inspired by Smoke on the Water, added a final note to an already beautiful composition.

Gratitude feels small when you’re spoiled with a culinary experience like this.
