IReNCLAD, is the design of a new residence for Rudo Martin in Irene, Pretoria.

The house is set on a podium and responds to dolomitic soil conditions.

The material selection draws from the local context and resources with Irene stone and facebrick used for feature elements, contrasted by the steel sheeting and white bagged plaster to accentuate the different elevations.
