One of our loyal customers called us to book in his 1.4 Polo 6r. The vehicle has been standing for quite some time and needed some love to get back on the road. We proceeded to carry out a thorough inspection to see what would need replacing right now and what we could postpone for a future repair. We concluded that a major service would be needed as well as a cracked coolant bottle that would need to be replaced.

We had a customer call us with troubles that his 2010 Polo Vivo 1.6i does not want to start. We had the vehicle towed in and started with diagnosis right away. We found that there was no compression on all 4 cylinders and checked timing. After inspection, we found that timing was badley out and immediately knew that the issue was laying at the timing chain. The cylinder head was removed and checked condition on valves and found that all intake valves were bent and sent the head away for complete overall. We then proceeded to assemble the vehicle with a new timing chain kit aswell as water pump, thermostat housing and water hose. The vehicle started with its first swing of the key.
