We're Hiring: Claims Executive

Are you a driven, detail-oriented insurance professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for operational excellence?

We’re looking for a proactive Claims Executive to oversee the operational and administrative functions within our Commercial & Personal Lines Short-Term Insurance division — ensuring efficiency, compliance, and exceptional service delivery.

What You’ll Do:
✔ Oversee policy administration, underwriting, renewals, amendments & claims processes
✔ Manage daily operations, workload allocation, quality control & compliance monitoring
✔ Lead staff onboarding, training, performance management & team development
✔ Ensure adherence to FAIS, underwriting & regulatory requirements
✔ Maintain strong broker and client relationships while delivering service excellence
✔ Manage payroll-related administration, attendance & leave processes
✔ Compile operational reports and support strategic process improvements
✔ Drive office administration, system enhancements & operational efficiencies

What You’ll Need:
✔ Grade 12 (Matric)
✔ RE5 – Compulsory
✔ RE1 – Compulsory
✔ NQF 5 in Short-Term Insurance – Compulsory
✔ Class of Business: Commercial & Private Lines – Advantageous
✔ 5–10 years’ experience in short-term insurance operational support
✔ 5–10 years’ staff management and office operations experience
✔ Strong claims, underwriting & client retention experience
✔ In-depth knowledge of short-term insurance products, risk profiling & pricing
✔ TIAL or ROC experience – Advantageous
✔ Bilingual: English & Afrikaans
✔ Strong administrative, communication & negotiation skills

📍 Position based in Durbanville, Western Cape – Office bound
