Orefile Mojatau is preparing to represent the Free State at the 2026 International Junior Miss South Africa (IJMSA) pageant, which will take place in Mpumalanga from 1 to 4 July.

The pageant, directed by Mrs Tidimalo Thabi, provides a platform for young contestants from across the country to develop confidence, leadership skills and personal growth while competing at a national level.

Orefile first participated in IJMSA in December 2024 when the event was hosted aboard a cruise travelling from Durban to Mozambique.
Competing in the Junior Teen category, Orefile achieved impressive results during her debut year, being named Second Runner-Up Junior Teen, Winner of the Young Author Junior Teen title, and Public Choice Second Runner-Up.

Her success continued in 2025 when the pageant was held in Cape Town. There, she was crowned the Free State Provincial Winner and once again earned the title of Public Choice Second Runner-Up, further establishing herself as a rising young talent in the pageant industry.

Now preparing for the 2026 competition, Orefile will once again compete in the Junior Teen division. Passionate about modelling and performing, she describes the stage as her happy place. With previous achievements already behind her, she hopes to continue growing, learning and proudly representing the Free State on the national stage.

It is with great pride that we celebrate two former Onze Rust learners, Retha Serobanyane and Rele Serobanyane, on their selection to the 2026 Free State Netball Team! 💚💛

These talented young ladies have continued to pursue excellence both on and off the court, and we are thrilled to see their hard work, dedication, and passion being rewarded at provincial level.

Although they have moved on from Onze Rust, they will always be part of our school family. We are incredibly proud to see them representing the Free State and inspiring the next generation of young athletes.

May this achievement be just the beginning of many more successes to come!
