Regulation 19(7) is clear: you can only submit adverse credit information to a bureau once a customer has missed 3 consecutive billing cycles and at least 90 days have passed since the first missed payment. Calendar days alone don't cut it. It has to be both.

Here's a real example:
📅 First missed payment: 25 December
📅 Cycle 2: 25 January
📅 Cycle 3: 25 February
⛔ Earliest write-off date: 26 March

Getting this wrong even by a day can invalidate the write-off entirely.
