We're thrilled to announce that we're making incredible progress at the Eyethu Shopping Centre. Upon completion, Eyethu Shopping Centre will provide the community with a prime convenience retail experience, boosting local favourites such as Shoprite, Clicks Pharmacy, Ackermans and so much more. The Edilcon Construction (Pty) Ltd team is proud to be working with the Abland Pty Ltd team on the Eyethu Shopping Centre in Soweto, Johannesburg. The mall comprises of 10 000m2 of retail shops and is due for completion in October 2023.

The Hawk Academy was formed in 2016 by husband and wife team, Sipho Mkhonto (director of Hawk Academy) and Agnes Mkhonto (principal) and is located on Main Reef Road in Germiston. It has 1170 learners from Grade R to Matric, with the first matric class of 20 learners writing matric this year.

The Hawk Academy is one of the initiatives that is supported by the Abcon Group Foundation, who have assisted in growing the school over time. Edilcon Construction (Pty) Ltd contributes to the Abcon Group Foundation as part of its socio-economic program. Edilcon Construction (Pty) Ltd and it’s shareholder representatives visited Hawk Academy this week for a tour of the facilities by the principal Agnes Mkhonto.

The Edilcon Construction (Pty) Ltd team has been appointed as the principle contractor for the new Letsheng Mall in Orange Farm, Johannesburg, Gauteng. The bulk earthworks commenced this week, and the team is excited to be involved in this landmark project for the community of Orange Farm.
