A surprising fact about bees you might not have known. 🐝💛

Bees have two stomachs: one to eat, which would be their actual digestive stomach, and one to store nectar, which then turn into honey, also called a nectarific hive.

A worker bee lives about 40 days, and in that time it visits about 7,000 flowers to produce 5 grams of honey, which is approximately one teaspoon.

For us it's just a little honey, but for the bee it was the hard work of her entire life.
