🇬🇧 Everyone knows the SAS... but almost nobody has heard of the unit that helps make their operations possible.

The Special Reconnaissance Regiment (SRR) is one of Britain's most secretive military units.

They don't storm buildings.
They don't seek the spotlight.

Their job is to find the target, build the intelligence picture, and give UK Special Forces the information they need before an operation begins.

In this episode of Tactical Truth, former UK Special Forces operator Phil Campion explains what the SRR really does, why it was created, and why so many people misunderstand its role.

Could Britain's most important military unit be the one you've never heard of?

🇬🇧 CEASEFIRE IS OVER… BUT WHICH ONE?

Just when it looked like tensions in the Middle East might be easing, we’re back to missiles, air strikes and threats of further escalation.

President Donald Trump has declared the latest ceasefire with Iran “is over” after renewed fighting erupted overnight.

The United States says it launched strikes against Iranian military targets in response to attacks on shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. Iran has since retaliated by targeting US military facilities in Bahrain and Kuwait.

If you’re struggling to keep track of the number of ceasefires, pauses and renewed hostilities over the past few weeks, you’re probably not alone.

The reality is that every failed ceasefire increases the risk of a wider conflict.

For the UK, this matters.

British forces remain deployed across the Middle East, while the Royal Navy continues to play a vital role protecting one of the world’s most important shipping routes through the Gulf.

Any further escalation could have consequences far beyond the region, affecting global trade, energy supplies and the security of allied forces.

So what do you think?

Are these repeated ceasefires genuine attempts at peace, or simply pauses before the next round of fighting?

🇬🇧 IS FARAGE BETTING EVERYTHING ON THE MISSION?

Military commanders don’t launch an operation unless they believe they can achieve the objective.

Nigel Farage has taken a significant political gamble by resigning as the MP for Clacton and triggering a by election that he intends to fight himself.

The move comes as he faces two Parliamentary Standards investigations relating to donations and benefits received before entering Parliament.

Farage insists he has done nothing wrong and says the people of Clacton, not Westminster, should decide his political future.

His opponents argue the by election is a distraction from the ongoing investigations.

Farage sees it differently.

His message is clear.

Let the voters decide.

It’s a high risk strategy.

If he wins, he’ll claim a renewed mandate from the people and argue that voters have backed him despite the allegations.

If he loses, his critics will say the gamble has backfired.

Whatever your political views, this is one of the boldest political moves we’ve seen in recent years.

So what do you think?

Is this a confident leader putting his fate in the hands of the electorate, or a calculated political manoeuvre while investigations continue?
