Sr. Mary Johnson, SNDdeN, Distinguished Professor of Sociology and Religious Studies, was elected as General Moderator of the worldwide Congregation of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. This is the top leadership position for all SNDs worldwide.

The five sisters on the Congregational Leadership Team have responsibilities to lead and serve more than 1,000 SNDs in provinces around the world, in North, Central and South America, Europe, Africa and Asia. For 125 years, they have been the beneficiaries of their great mission and ministry here at Trinity, and are thrilled that Sr. Mary Johnson will now step into this leadership role.
