“Handa sa Araw ng Panginoon”

Sa bawat lindol, digmaan, at kaguluhan na nasasaksihan natin, tila lalong nagiging totoo ang mga babala sa Banal na Kasulatan. Ngunit ang mga “signs of the end times” ay hindi lamang paalala ng takot — ito ay paanyaya ng Diyos na magising at magbalik sa Kanya.

Hindi natin alam kung kailan darating ang Araw ng Panginoon, ngunit bawat araw na ibinibigay Niya ay isang pagkakataon upang maging tapat, magpatawad, at magmahal. Sa gitna ng kaguluhan ng mundo, ang tunay na kapanatagan ay matatagpuan lamang sa pagkakapit sa Kanya.

Kaya sa halip na mangamba, magsikap tayong mamuhay nang may pananampalataya, pag-asa, at pag-ibig—dahil ang puso na handa, iyon ang pinakamagandang alay sa pagdating ni Kristo.

🔥 Torches Against the Thieves

Beneath the shadow of gilded halls,
Crocodiles in barong still roam the walls.
They clutch the riches; they guard their gain.
While the people sink in flood and pain.

Not fleeing yet—no, they crouch and deceive.
Hiding in power, in laws they weave.
House seats complicit, DPWH hands,
Ghost projects erected on hollow lands.

Budgets are swallowed, yet projects are unseen.
Contracts are signed where no work has been done.
A congress of shadows, a cartel of lies,
Their schemes are unveiled as the outrage flies.

But torches are lit in the hands of taxpayers and the poor,
The fire of justice pounds at the door.
Though they conceal, their masks will fall,
And the blaze of the people will scorch them all.

No sanctuary left, no refuge to grieve,
The nation is rising—"torches against the thieves!"
